Average Indonesian food. Prices vary depending on what you get. The girls won’t tell you the base cost so they wait until you choose items and then name a price. We paid 30k IDR for 4 items and rice. Decent for a cheap place but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Super tasty food and super cheap! Must try when you’re in Canggu area in Bali! It’s some kind of home cooking fresh food place. Felt like eating my grandma’s cooking! 😅The food were shown in the glass stall. You can choose as many sides as you wanted by pointing it to the staff. Our food in the pic costs about £1.30 each plate with a drink!

Great indo food averaging 30-40K for a plate. Good vegan/vegetarian options with lots of tofu, tempeh available in the cabinet. Have come back 3 times in 2 days. Highly recommend

If you are vegan I don't recomend it. I usually don't do bad reviews but this was a bad experience and just want to save you from the same. There is a lot of very good places to eat in Canggu. Staff was not nice and when we said we were vegan and asked about our options they were annoyed and didn't care much. The food was meh and tasted like fish.

I would say its an average warung, with canggu prices. When its fresh made its ok, but when already laying 2-3h in the display its a possibility to get diarea. But thats how it is, Bali belly. Warungs are sometimes risky option, when the food is not stored well.But I still can recomend other warungs in Bali.

Like your average warung but way better! Lots of veg*n options, quick and cheap, but a much better ambiance and design.They have a large range of dishes all looking very fresh. Three different types of rice, plain white, yellow and red. Lots of plant based and animal basef options so good for a mixed group too.I had a bunch of stuff and extra rice as I was tired from surfing, so my cost got upto 38k. But i think the usual amount would be around 20k. I recommend their large tofu blocks, very nicely textured and flavoured unlike the bland stuff at most other places. Would also recommend their tempeh and tofu stir fry, and jackfruit!Definifely will be a go-to.Update: been there a few times now and they slightly change things up each day or so. Had food for 37k and 28k too, so i guess just slightly more pricey than other warungs but still cheap.

It's kind of buffet style. Dishes are already cooked. You select what you want and the staff calculate the price. Price is cheap. Food tastes good but most dishes are cold. Staff is impatient when I asked what the dish is. 2 staff started sweeping the floor while quite a few customers were still eating.

The price is quite cheap. Me and my husband ordered these (rice, chicken satay, cap cay, tempe orek and perkedel jagung, with 2 ice sweet tea) for Rp. 52.000,-. For me, the taste is average. The place is not too big, it can accommodate 36 people. It is famous for the cheap price, not only for locals also for the international tourists. The atmosphere is not cozy for hanging out more than 15 mins. But all the staff will serve you fast, so you don't need to worry for waiting too long.

Best “local” food in Canggu. Don’t fall prey to the chia and sourdough imported stuff in the area. Enrich your gut microbiome by eating local food locally cooked and made. Warning: food is spicy though

Healthy, inexpensive, tasty. I returned to this excellent establishment time and again while in Canggu.

One of my favourite warungs after 1 month in Indonesia. Not super interesting dishes, but they have the basics - rice (also brown rice), big chuncks of tempe, tofu, vegetables... My partner eats vegan and there were many options for him, but they had eggs and meat as well. The meals costs next to nothing here, depending on what you choose you get a plate of food from 25k and up.

Love this spot!! Food is amazing and the prices can’t be beat. Generally between 25-39K depending on what you get. I usually got rice, 2 chicken skewers, fried egg, kidney beans and then a mixture of some green vegetables and it usually came out to around 30-35K and man was I full after! They do take away which is great as well. Bring a water with you as you’ll spend almost half your meal on a drink. I went here probably 10+ times during my month in Bali. Love it!

Good nasi campur with reasonable prices.Had yellow rice with some vegetables and Tempe and payed 19k plus 12 for the can of coke.Sambal was not that spicy, guess because of many tourists eating there.Around 40 people can fit inside I'd guess.Employees are friendly.

This is one of those places that is riding more on hipster hype than any true quality. Allof the dishes - literally all of the 8 I had, were room-temperature cold. This is at 7pm—primedinner time. And the food itself wasn’t even that inspiring regardless of temperature. Yes, it’s cheap, but it also feels like you’re eating food that’s been left out all day. My bowels will report back soon enough.

Traditional Balinese in Canggu. You pick how much you want on your plate. The tempeh and corn fritters are crave-worthy. Quick, affordable and fresh. Our favorite place to eat in the area. A must-visit for vegetarians— so many dishes to choose from!

Been there yesterday with a friend of mine. And there was a caterpillar in the food of my friend. When i asked the personnel to solve this problem they told that the caterpillar in the food is completely normal as it was inside the vegetables. When i insisted and several times repeated that there should not be caterpillars in the food they finally agreed to return my friend the money. But the mood was already spoiled.

Don't get fooled by positive reviews and online hype. This place is disappointing. Very average lukewarm food, the satay here are not that good. The brown rice was purple? Had far better warungs in Bali. This is overrated and there are only tourist here eating.

My husband and I got food poisoning there... So I will not even get into details describing how badly the food tasted (who cares after reading the poisoning part anyway)

Amazing Indonesian food! You can choose the options you prefer and create your dish. Do not hesitate to ask the staff for suggestions. They are really nice! Vegetarian options are delicious :)

Great yummy meal for 20k. I paid almost as much for my Coke Light as i did the food (12k). Was only looking for a light lunch so got a tiny plate. I don't know what all i ordered was but I should have got more as I devoured it so quickly. I'll be back as it beats the 60-100k you pay for Western food.

Good selection but the food was cold... nice vegetarian option and they also have meat like chicken and stuff! You choose what you want and after they say a random price.. pretty weird! I had a full plate with meat for 37k and the misses had a full vegetarian plate for 28k!Would recommend as a last option, don’t come here too late or the food will be cold!

A "choose your own food" warung in Canggu serving delicious authentic homecook Indonesian cuisine. They have everything like chicken satay, tempe, tofu, fried chickens, sauteed vegetables and many more; just choose a white or yellow rice to the staff and choose whatever you want there (point the food to the staff and they will put them on your plate). Pay first, then eat. Reasonable price and recommended!

Over priced for a local Warung! It's more East Java cuisine cook not Balinese.
